In 1986, our newly acquired building at 141 Bowers St experienced a devastating fire, leaving the second-floor sanctuary in ruins. For 26 years, it remained untouched. Now, we're clearing out the debris, eager to rebuild and resume worship in this sacred space (see pictures below). Although the building is structurally sound, much is needed to restore the second floor.

We're actively raising funds and working diligently. Our first priority is replacing the skylight knocked out in the roof, allowing birds to inhabit our sanctuary for the past two decades.

Your support is invaluable. You can contribute by donating to the Emergency Relief Fund, sharing our story with potential donors, or volunteering for much-needed manual labor. Your generosity makes a difference.
