The Word, the spiritual, the physical.

Thought: The greatest battle is in your mind.

• What we need to fight this spiritual battle is a word from The Lord.  

• The problems that we have at work, home, with our family, is not with the people we deal with in the physical. It's within the spirit realm... There are spirits constantly trying to influence our at atmosphere and the people around us. God's Word is the only thing that can help us in the spiritual. 

• Once we fix what's in the spiritual, we can fix what's in the physical.  

• Relationships can be restored if we realize we need not attack the person, but address the spirit that is driving that person! 

Matthew 16:23 - Rather than coming down on Peter, Jesus spoke to the spirit that was influencing Peter... Jesus shows us the devils tactics. Satan looks to disrupts the spiritual, in order to affect the physical. Fix the spiritual issue, and you fix the physical issue!

Christ is our portion

Thursday evening Bible Study: 6/26/14

Thought: Knowing what true wealth is.

Challenge : To walk, live, talk, in sanctification.  

God wants us to be separated from the World. Seperated from the majority.  

 - With God, the majority does not rule. 

Christ is what makes us wealthy. 

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:16, 17 KJV)

Because he suffered for us, we must suffer with him. 

Psalm 37 : How many times does The Lord talk about the wicked getting cut off? 

In the name of Jesus!

You need to power of the holy spirit to defeat you...

Challenge : To arrest any spirit that hinder us. 

Thought: God has given me everything I need from spiritual warfare. 

When you walk in the spirit you will win spiritual warfare. 

Things that man have named mental deceased are really spirits!   schizophrenia, bi-polar, we know the name that will shut you down! "JESUS"!

Our God controls all that we can't see.

Everyone has a different assignment...

The devil, the price of darkness wants us to remain in the dark. He want us to accept lies..

No matter what, God has the last word!

In Christ, you are a new creature...There is nothing the Devil can do to stop you!

Pentecost Friday - Strong Finish!

2 Timothy 4

Before we can impart people to get the Holy Ghost, we need to get them to believe. 

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:6-8 KJV)

• Strong faith!
• Strong finish!

The Word, The Glory (when you have God's Word, he will show you his glory)

Subject: The character of God

Thought : I posses the creative power of God by faith. 

Challenge : To expect God's glory by exercising my rights.

No matter the situation, speak the word. 

- God's word works according to our belief. 

The Word of God is upholding everything. 

The word of The Lord has been sent to heal you!

- "Say Lord I believe your word and it shal work in my life"

God is the only one that can heal the mind... 

By the Word of God you have the authority! (Over demons, spirits, sickness)

When we walk in the Word, others will be able to feel the power of The Lord when they are in our presence...

By his stripes we are healed!

Jesus is the bread of life! The light of the World! The living water!

BLESS GOD GOR YOUR HEALING!

Is your mind made up? Because when it is, you will have what you ask for!!! When you believe...

Ask yourself, is God your priority?...

- a When Fod is your priority, you will want his Word morning, noon and night! 

Who's report will you believe?

There's certain things you have to cut off... There's certain people, places and things that need to left behind. 

You have to see what God sees, say what God says and beleive what God told you. 

And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. (Mark 5:39, 40 KJV)

- Jesus was laughed to scorn because he had a different view of the situation. Where others saw death, Jesus saw life! He then put out all of those that did not beleive...

Marriage Workshop - May 31st, 2014

* Some notes from our last Marriage Workshop at Mt.Olive House of Prayer.

How can husbands show their wives unconditional love?;

• Going beyond faults 
• Listening 
• Sacrificing 
• Don't assume 
• Delivery & approach 
• Patience

The bible points out to the husbands "husbands love your wives"

How can wives show husbands unconditional respect? ;

• Don't assume we think the same. 
• Getting over/letting go of the past. 
• Timing, knowing when to hold your tongue. 

For the wives, the Bible points out "wives submit to yourselves to your husband".

"Husbands live with your wives according to knowledge"

Over time, we have to "re kindle the flame" in our marriages. 

• Nurture our marriages
• Help the flames grow
• Stay and show interest in each other. 

Similar to our pursuit with God, it is a constant pursuit. 

We have so much to deal with, the first thing we need to get in order is our time with God. SPEND TIME WITH GOD.

In reference to communication: A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. (Proverbs 15:1 KJV)

The main problem that Christians today have is that they do now stay in the word of God. 

Unconditional Love from the husband needs to go beyond the wife's emotion. 

Do we have a vision? As a couple, is there a goal at hand?

Be set free!

Thought: I am a spiritual being having a natural experience.

* The physical man is just an expression of the inner man.

Single men and women, don’t get caught up on the outward appearance.

Challenge: To live life in the spirit.

 - Many of us do not realize that there are evil spirits that control nations and places on the Earth. These spirits can influence and even control us IF WE LET THEM.

- We have the authority to say yes or no to these spirits. That’s why it’s important to say yes to the Holy Spirit, and let the power of God dwell within us.

When God speaks to you, let go and let God!

Don’t just speak about being saved, show it!

Jesus doesn’t just speak to us, he speaks to the spirit trying to hinder us and make us stumble..

As Christians we can be posed, but we can be oppressed. 

Having the power of the Holy Spirit within us we need to take authority over the enemy!

YOU WILL NOT HOLD ME! YOU WILL NOT TEMPT ME! LOOSE ME! SET ME FREE!

GOD IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING!

Creation glorifies God.

- Look at the 4 seasons

- The exchange of the sun and the moon.

- Parents have children and grandchildren. As they get old, the next generation takes up the mantle.

• We serve God, the King of Glory.

- We worship the King. When we wake up, we need to know, the King of Glory is there, bow before the king. Because if it had not been for him, we would not be breathing. It’s his air that we breath.

• We must submit to God.

We can over power all that comes against us because the king of Glory lives in us!

Believing is the key.

We can’t receive, unless we believe.
