Thought: Am I thirsty for more of God?

 

Challange: To speak the glory of God

 

• God's glory allows you to get better and not bitter. 

 

• You can not have progress until you get in the process of change. 

 

John 7:37-39

 

Those that believe know that they will see the glory of God cover the earth. 

 

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:38 KJV)

 

• God can change you, but you have to want to drink from his living water. 

 

John 4: 7-11

 

Jesus provides is with living water. He provides is with a well of life!

- You have something to draw with. Your faith! You only need to believe.

 

Walking in the Glory

Matthew 14 :14

 

Ephesians 3:20

 

Thought : My God is Great. 

 

God is greater than our struggles;

  • Greater than our financial difficulties
  • Greater than the fact that I still haven't found a job yet. 
  • Greater than anything we can come up against. 

Challange : To walk in the spirit, so I can see God's glory. 

 

There are no chains holding up the earth, only God's glory. 

 

God's glory is too much for us to bare in our sin state. Only by walking in the spirit can we walk in God's glory. 

 

Jesus was the best example of walking in the spirit. We need to stop walking like the world and start walking like Jesus.

 

 

Our right is to give God glory no matter what our circumstance looks like. 

 

The more I desire, the more God gives.

- Do I desire to see his glory?

 

Matt 14:16 

- Do you believe you can do it?

- Many times we look at what we have, rather than who we have?

 

Christian Multiplication

- Bless God for what you have and God will multiply it!!!

 

Stop subtracting from the little you have...

 

God's glory defies time, gravity and everything else we can think of!

 

Matt 14:25 

- nothing in the natural world could stop Jesus as he walked in the spirit 

- the water represents trouble. Jesus walked over it!

- Jesus walked right through the storm! It could not sway him!

Our actions, attitude, and clothes speak.

- These things send messages about who we are and what we represent. 

 

- What are you saying?

 

In the book of Job, we see a man protected by God. God had to give the devil permission to attack Job.

 

Job lost everything in one day. His reaction was to fall down and worship God.

 

Things got worse and his health was attacked. His friends came to sit with him. Eventually they tried to convince Job to admit his wrong. 

 

- Job sat defending himself against his friends, trying to convince then that he was upright. 

 

Through all his tribulations, Job remained obedient to God. And he was rewarded a double portion of what he had lost. 

 

The book of Job is the oldest book in the Bible... Being the oldest book, that says Jon had no book to go by... He knew God from what was passed on to him verbally.

 

What are we going to do when the time of tribulation comes to us? When you are threatened, tortured and approached to deny God, will you deny God?

Challange : Be filled with the spirit. 

 

Whatever you do, do it in the spirit. 

 

Without the spirit there is no annointing. It's the aannointing that breaks the yoke!

 

When the Israelites left Egypt, God led them to the Red Sea. They were stuck with no way out.

 

- God wants you at the hard place, so that he can show you his glory. 

  • God always wants to show you his glory. 

Moses told the Israelites "stand still" things may look impossible, BUT GOD.

 

Today is your day!

  • Your day to be healed
  • Your day to be delivered
  • Your day to overcome your problems

Why did God show up to Moses in a bush?

 

  • Bush in the Hebrew was Sena
  • The thorn bush came due to the corruption of man (Gen 3 :17&18)

Why was the bush not consumed?

  • The thorn bushed represented the curse on man, God's presence preserved the bush that was under the curse. As children of God, sin burns around us, but because of God's presence with his children, we can not be consumed!

 

After the children of Israel were delivered, immediately, they began to turn against God. They were caught up in the current hardships and had no faith in what God had in store.

 

  • God's ways are not like ours!

 

Take God out the box and let God do what he needs to do!

 

 

Are you relieving the freedom that God has given us through his word?

  • It makes no sense to come to church Sunday after Sunday and complain that you don't see change in your life.
    • Are you walking unbound?
    • The word of God is not bound why are you?
    • Give yourself over to God's word!
    • Have you been reading, praying and meditating on God's word?
  • Jesus' death on the cross says that we are free

Today is a new day, you don't have to stay the same...in Jesus' name.

 

Put your faith and your actions in God and let him do something mighty for you!

 

  • Walk in a mindset of faith

Challange : To rely on the Holy Spirit 

 

• I'm God's property

 

Psalms 91 

 

- we need to seek God in our secret place. 

 

- pring all your burdens to your secret place. (You problems, you past the things you don't want to tell any one). It's at this time the spirit can make intercession for us. 

-- tell God all your problems in your secret place. 

 

In your secret place, God will give you:

  1. Power
  2. Peace
  3. Promises - when you dwell in him you get protection. 

The devil attacks 3 things:

  1. Your will - the devil wants you to change yor will. 
  2. Your mind - the devil speaks to your feelings. God speaks to your heart.

Ephesians 3:16

 

• Your imagination is the creative power of God in you!

-•When you see it god will help you be it!

 

 

1 John 4:13 

 

- we are placed here by God. 

- because God resides in us, the devil is forever defeated!

- we have the power of God within us.

--since we have the power speak over your sickness, and your situations. 

 

Acts 27:25 - Beleive God

 

- your business will grow

- You will get an increase

- you will get an abundance if overflow

Subject : The character of God

Thought : I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. 

 

Challenge : To walk in the spirit (Galations 5:16)

 

My faith in God, will make me whole.

 

In the Bible leprecy was an in-curable  disease that no earth remedy. Only by going to someone anointed by God, could you be delivered/healed from leprecy. 

 

There is only one spirit that gives us all we need(faith, discernment, prophecy, strength.. ect)  to continue walking in the spirit. 

 

- I have to walk in the spirit so I can see God do a great thing. 

 

God sent us this story (Luke 17: 11- 19) to show us that things happen as we walk in obedience. 

 

* OBEDIENCE

 

Is the time you spend with God even half the time you spend with God?

 

We should be walking in the spirit so that when we talk, we talk in the spirit. So that when we think, we think in the spirit. We should do EVERYTHING in the spirit. 

 

Whatever your asking God for, walk as if you already have it. As your doing God's will, the sprit of God is going to deliver you.  

 

Our bodies already has what it needs within to heal itself. When foreign cells enter the body, the white blood cells attack it! (We get a cut, the body naturally repairs the wound)

 

- God does not deal with magic, all he does is SPEED up the natural process that HE put in place!

 

Of the 10 that we're cleansed only the Samaritin came back (Luke 17:17). The one defined by the Jews as "no good", he was the one that returned to give Jesus thanks. Never forget where your healing/delivery comes from. 

 

As we are walking in the sprit the healing power of God is within.

 

Are you walking after the things YOU want? Or are you walking according to what God's spirit wants for you? Are you walking in the flesh or the spirit?

 

* There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:1 KJV)

 

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST!
