Psalms 86:12
Acts 16:16-33
Thought : Am I a situational praiser?
- Just because our situation changed, know that God has no changed.
Challenge: Praise, Praise, Praise! In other words, don't stop praising God!
What is praise?; An expression of admiration unto God; celebrating God for who he is and what he can do.
• When you praise God continually, you get results.
•When we praise God we are commending him.
•praise is our favorable opinion of God.
Ultimately praise is a choice, no one can make you praise God.
Praise is a mind set. Your mind must be ready to praise him. You have to start the process, it's based on you deciding to do so.
Praise is the prescription to change the atmosphere.
What enters into the mind starts with the heart.
- angry heart leads to angry thoughts.
- sad heart leads to sad thoughts.
- happy heart leads to happy thoughts.
How are you controlling what enters into your thoughts?
Many of us are in a spiritual prison, but we don't have to stay there. You can praise your way out!
•Instead of focusing on the problems, complaining and murmuring, praise The Lord!
In Acts 16 we see that in the midst of their pain, Paul and Silas found a praise! And the praised their way out!
God will give you a moment, but after that moment remember that God is great! And greatly to be praised! Praise him for he is bringing you out!
- he's taking you from a test, to a testimony.
