For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness….
Generally speaking, most people believe in God, no matter what their strange perception of Him may be. Where most of their misunderstanding lies is how does Jesus fit into the plan of God. So the enemy whispers sweet nothings to them about believing in God, but not to believe in Jesus. Unfortunately, his tactics his been very successful. False religions are full of zealous followers who are committed to their religion without a relationship with Jesus Christ. This in spite of what Jesus said: …I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (John 14:6). Sadly Jesus is due back at any moment, and many are not ready to meet Him in the air (Jer. 8:20; I Thess. 4:17).
To be “Caught Up” to meet Jesus in the air is the next event on God’s calendar. This is what we Christians passionately call the “Rapture.” All signs of a sick earth with it weather and natural disasters becoming more and more unpredictable and unstable has manifested itself; financial systems are failing, and unemployment is out of control; prices skyrocketing, as we get less for our money, and crimes are happening at an alarming rate, etc… do I really need to go on? To say that the “natives are getting restless” is an understatement! The uncertainty alone of “What’s Next” is frightening for those who don’t have a plan or clue. To their shame, many believe they will enter heaven without Jesus. While they live ungodly (without God) lives, and remain in unrighteousness (immorality) because they continue to refuse the righteousness of God which is only obtainable through Jesus Christ. Thank God that we, the believers, are in this world, but we are not of this world (John 17:14, 17). Therefore God’s children do not live in uncertainty, but know very well what’s next. At any moment Jesus will show up. Can you say like John the apostle on the island of Patmos without the luxuries we now enjoy: “Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen” (it shall be, it is so; indeed, it is so).
