Another dimension

Bishop Troy v. Ingram Sr

Scripture Reading:

Acts 27:18-25

Hebrews 11:1

Hebrews 10:35

- "Lord I want to go to another dimension"

• Faith though process, your not always gonna get it because you said it.

• According to your faith, that be it done unto you.

- Faith is what lets you see what you can't see with your natural eyes.

The just shall live by faith. Hear God's word and don't budge from it!

LIVE - BY - FAITH !

If you are in sin, you can be delivered, just believe on Jesus! Jesus died so that we may be forgiven of our sins. All we need to do is ask for forgiveness and change our ways!

•Wait on God, Be patient in God, Be confident in God. NOW FAITH! (Heb 11:1)

To be a Christian is like being an alien on Earth, we are not of this world but of the Kingdom of God!

I am going to another dimension because I BELIEVE GOD!

Perpetual Praise!

Co-Pastor Gloria Ingram

Psalms 86:12

Acts 16:16-33

Thought : Am I a situational praiser?
- Just because our situation changed, know that God has no changed.

Challenge: Praise, Praise, Praise! In other words, don't stop praising God!

What is praise?; An expression of admiration unto God; celebrating God for who he is and what he can do.

• When you praise God continually, you get results.

•When we praise God we are commending him.
•praise is our favorable opinion of God.

Ultimately praise is a choice, no one can make you praise God.

Praise is a mind set. Your mind must be ready to praise him. You have to start the process, it's based on you deciding to do so.

Praise is the prescription to change the atmosphere.

What enters into the mind starts with the heart.
- angry heart leads to angry thoughts.
- sad heart leads to sad thoughts.
- happy heart leads to happy thoughts.

How are you controlling what enters into your thoughts?

Many of us are in a spiritual prison, but we don't have to stay there. You can praise your way out!

•Instead of focusing on the problems, complaining and murmuring, praise The Lord!

In Acts 16 we see that in the midst of their pain, Paul and Silas found a praise! And the praised their way out!

God will give you a moment, but after that moment remember that God is great! And greatly to be praised! Praise him for he is bringing you out!
- he's taking you from a test, to a testimony.

Growing in Faith

Notes from Pastor Troy's new year message

The theme at Mt.Olive for 2013 is "Growing in Faith"

Faith is something we need everyday in our life.

Jesus did his miracles by faith. When he went to do something he knew what was going to happen. He spoke in faith.

Jesus did not speak with reservation or hesitation.

When The Lord is in the house great things happen.

If we are going to fill our church, it has to be by faith. If Mt.Olive is going to get the upstairs fixed it has to be by faith.

"HAVE FAITH IN GOD" no matter what the situation.

Our biggest mistake is not growing in faith.

• Are we walking and talking in faith?

Your faith will be where you put it. If you put it in money then you will fail when your money fails, if its in the world you will go down with the world. But if your faith is in JESUS! Then you shall always prosper! You shall not fall!

When God's Word is spoken by faith, God has to do what is said according to his Word.

Enoch walked with God, which says he walked in faith.

What are you holding back in your life because of disbelief?

• Without faith it is impossible to please God.

We get tested so that we may see where we need to grow.

I'm growing in faith from this day forward. Nothing shall stop my faith in God! IN JESUS NAME!

Outbreak; From the curse to the cure

Evangelist Hargett

Scripture reading:

Romans 8: 1-10

Luke 17: 11-19

Subject: Sin's penalty and God's remedy

Challange: I will not look back because the deliver has delivered me.

Sin is a deadly disease. Like all deadly diseases if you do not find a cure and apply it, the disease will kill you.

Only the blood of Jesus can cure the disease that is sin.

In the New Testament we read about Jesus healing all kinds of sickness. There was no limits to Jesus' healing power.

Jesus wants to rid us all of our sin sickness.

Proverbs 6:15-19

God is not pleased with our sinful ways, we need to repent, and follow Jesus.

- We should be continually killing our flesh, putting away the things that are not of God.

• We put too much emphasis on this life, when what we should be concerned about is eternal life after we die here.

• Jesus is coming, will you be ready?

Many have forgotten God, some acknowledge God and yet remain in sin.

Many are deceived and do not hear the voice of The Lord. God is calling us to repent from ALL sin!

We do not know the day or the hour. Tomorrow may never come, and if you  die in your sin... Then it will be too late. No one is too young to die.

•Believers speak up, spread the Word of God, evangelize to those in need of God's Word.

We are never safe from sin. We need to walk continually in the Word of God. We should have a relationship with Jesus.

Every day we should be talking with The Lord. Thanking him for what he has done and seeking instruction.

- Let God guide our steps

I am blessed and highly favored!

Subject : The mind of Christ

Scripture reading;

Luke 1 : 26 - 37

Thought: As I think, so am I. ( we are never far apart from our thinking)

Challenge : To speak God's word to lead me
- if we don't follow God's Word we will follow our own Word.

Because we are blessed we will always have. When you pray to God for something thank him before it happens, praise him while you wait for it!

The same angel (Gabriel) that spoke with Mary spoke to Daniel 509 years earlier.
- The prince of Persia tried to stop Gabriel from his assignment, but Gabriel did not let him deter him from his assignment.
- Don't let anything get in the way of what God has assigned to you. God has given us all assignments for our lives.

We are blessed and highly favored! Be prepared for greatness!!!

The devil thought he had you when you fell. But with God on our side we can get up and overcome! We don't have to stay down, we are blessed and highly favored!

Gabriel told Mary she will conceive a son in her womb. Mary probably thought he meant when she was married. However what Gabriel was saying was "though shall conceive as soon as you receive"

God is blessing us in abundance!

Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the World!

When Mary received what the angel said she conceived it because she believed it.

• AS WE THINK, SO ARE WE!

• AS WE THINK, SO ARE WE!

God says it's in my hands!

Notes from Pastor Troy's sermon Dec 9th

Pastor Troy Ingram @ New Castle

Genesis 5 : 21-24

Exodus 14:13-16

Thought : Do I understand the responsibility in my hand

Challenge : To use the authority in my hands

*The right hand of God symbolize power

*The left hand of God symbolize judgement.

We have been anointed for the trials that come out way.
- have faith in God, know that the power is of God.
- through God's power we shall have the victory.

Are we really walking with God?
- if we are walking with God we won't be doing the things you used you.
- when you walking with God you can speak things that are not as if they were.

After walking 300 years with God Enoch was taken up into heaven by God. He left behind a testimony that 'he pleased God'
- what will people day about you?

**Enoch represents the church, he was taken up before judgement (the flood). So shall we the church be taken up before judgement (fire).

Moses looked to The Lord as the people looked to him. Moses was anointed for the situation. As the people complained and scorned him, Moses looked to God.

The Lord told Moses his authority(his rod) was in his hands!
- God instructed him to stretch forth his hand.

* The devil is no threat because of the authority in our hands.
- The devil tries to deceive us while the whole time God wants us to know what we need he has already placed in our hands.

To the world when Jesus was nailed to the cross, they thought he was hopeless. But IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!

"There is no financial struggle, it's in your hands!"
- take the authority that is in your hands!

No devil or demon can take us, the authority to defeat them is in our hands - take authority!-

Jesus died on the cross but on the third day he rose, and he said "all power is in my hands!"

"We wrestle not against flesh and blood - stop fighting with you hands!"

*Be encouraged in the trial, don't get all messed up about it. It is in your hands.

* Israel went through the Red Sea because Moses walked in his authority.

Now that you know what you have, go home, get your issue, stretch out your hands. Take authority. Bring it before The Lord

Proverbs 4

Thought: Am I growing wiser as I grow older?

Challenge : To humble myself that I may receive God's wisdom.

• Are we living in pleasure or purpose?

We need to walk in the anointing of God. God's anointing will keep us and lead us.

• What are you hearing?

-- Wisdom wants your attention.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 KJV) - God's word is wisdom.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 KJV) - Lean on the wisdom of The Lord

God is Love, he will always love us. However, those who disobey is Word will have to suffer the consequences of his wrath.

God created you for a reason, you are here for purpose, on purpose.

God does not deal only with reality, God deals outside of the reality box! That's where our faith comes in, believing in things that are not as though they were.

  1. The enemy listens to everything we say
    1. You reap what you sow
    2. A mature Christian speaks the Word of The Lord.
    3. Don't give the devil anymore intel than he already has.
    4. He also watches our action.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: (James 1:19 KJV) - God wants us to hear more than we speak.

He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. (Proverbs 4:4-8 KJV)

• Don't forget what wisdom tells you, apply it with understanding.

God's wisdom helps me see

*** NOTES FROM SEP 16th ***

Proverbs 3

John 9

Subject : The mind of Christ

Thought: I need the wisdom of God

* Wisdom : the ability to judge correctly and follow the best course of action.

Challenge : To stand on the wisdom of God

God wants us to see with our hearts first.

We speak by faith things that are not yet seen as though they where!

Paul said to the Corinthians "become a fool so that you may become wise"

Proverbs 3:1 - God is saying to us, "Don't forget what I told you" - For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. (Proverbs 3:2 KJV)

How can we forget the God that has provided and protected us?

There is nothing better than the protection of God!

? Admit my faults.
- we need to check ourselves before we check others.

Acknowledging the things that have affected you is one thing, but know that in Christ you are a new creature.

In everything give thanks.

THE PROMISE LAND

Thought: What's been on my mind

Challange : To set my course, climate and condition with Gods Word.

Genesis 22

Luke 6:45

Think before you speak

When Jesus spoke he was always speaking in obedience to the father. He spoke in truth and right standing.
Do I really want the truth?
When we speak are we saying what God says?

When we pray are we prioritizing our needs before our wants?

Vengeance belongs to the Lord.

Trust in the Lord with all they might, we can not trust in ourselves because our minds are finite!

We believe God for something we can't see. I the world that's crazy. The Bible says blessed is he who does not see yet belives.

Abraham beleived God, when God spoke he moved.

Start to do what God tells you.

Many of us should have died a longtime ago, but God saw it fit for us to live on. He continues to deliver us from the enemy.

WE ARE COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

At the name of Jesus all knees shall bow, every tung will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Stay in Expectation!

Co-Pastor Gloria Ingram

2 Kings 4:21-37

Psalm 62:5

Challange : To rejoice because it's already done!

Thought : Am I walking in expectation?

Don't put your expectation on people places and things, but put them on God!

We need to stay in expectation of what God is about to do.

Three types of believers

  • The believer with no expectation
  • The believer with low expectation
  • The believer with high expectation

God spoke and things happened. We need to live in his likeness. We need to speak God's words. God's Word says "Death and life is in the power of the tongue" .

We need to live in high expectation. As children of God we should not live beneath our priveleges.

The mind can be positive or negative. Thoughts control your actions and what you become. In other words unless you believe, nothing will happen. You have to believe you can be better, you have to believe you can get that job, etc.

Only God can turn a dead situation into life. God can revive anything! What needs to be revived in your life?
Your marriage?
Your passion for life?
Relation ships in your family?
What are you believing God for?

Jesus sent 70 deciples on their way and told them not to take anything with them. He wanted them to be in expectation every day... Can we live in that kind of expectation?

The 70 returned from being sent out and rejoiced after witnessing what God did for them on thier journey.

God wants us to trust him when he first speaks, not AFTER we witnessed something.

With God we should live in the expectation that it's already done!

Rejoice now because it's already done!

This week: Corporate Challange, expect God to do something great this week.
We are not going to talk negative
Think positive
Speak positive
Have scriptures available to redirect your negative thoughts.
